Le deuxième Yearbook édité par Team Network, East/West : Distorting mirrors, propose une réflexion sur les aspects politiques et artistiques entre l’Est et l’Ouest, avec cinq portfolio et une série de textes en anglais et en VO (portugais, français, italien, polonais).

+ Le réseau TEAM publie une constellation de regards d’Est en Ouest de l’Europe.

Après avoir, l’an passé, envisagé les interactions entre les champs des arts visuels et de la danse contemporaine, le « Yearbook » (publication annuelle, en l’occurrence au format d’un magazine dont la graphisme a été réalisé par l’équipe de la revue portugaise Obscena) de TEAM-Network, a pris pour objet les relations entre l’Est et l’Ouest de l’Europe, envisagées en particulier sous l’angle esthétique et culturel : au-delà de l’actualité commémorative immédiate, aussi loin de l’angélisme que de l’impérialisme, cette question (cet écheveau de questions plutôt) est sans doute celle qui met en jeu le plus activement cette diversité de regards qui donne sa raison d’être au réseau de revues européennes initié par Mouvement. « East/West : Distorting Mirrors » : le jeu de mots (en anglais, on peut déformer les miroirs autant qu’ils nous déforment) traduit la constellation de points de vue et la dynamique à l’œuvre au fil de ces 110 pages (en anglais et en VO) d’analyses, reportages, entretiens, portraits, portfolios…

The second Yearbook released by Team Network is entitled East/West : Distorting mirrors and provides insight into the political and artistic aspects between East and West with five portfolios and a series of texts in their original language (Portuguese, French, Italian, Polish) along with an English translation.

+ The TEAM network is publishing a constellation of perspectives from both Eastern and Western Europe.

After envisioning new interactions between the fields of visual arts and contemporary dance last year, Team Network’s “Yearbook” (a yearly publication in magazine-format with design work by the team of the Portuguese revue Obscena) took on the theme of relations between Eastern and Western Europe as seen in an aesthetic and cultural light. Beyond immediately commemorative current events and far from either idealism or imperialism, this question (or rather this web of questions) is certainly the one that most actively puts into play this diversity of perspectives that serves as the raison d’être of this network of European revues, initiated by Mouvement. “East/West : Distorting Mirrors” : the play on words refers to the constellation of viewpoints and the dynamics at work throughout these 110 pages (publications in their original language with English translation) of analysis, reporting, interviews, profiles, portfolios…

Le réseau TEAM Network a publié en août 2008 son premier Yearbook intitulé "Dance in Art". Il réunit en une quinzaine de contributions autant de points de vue sur diverses expériences artistiques d’un bout à l’autre de l’Europe, reflétant les liens qu’entretiennent la danse contemporaine et les arts visuels.

:: 10 points de vue européens

+ Une revue multilingue

Les articles sont publiés dans la langue originale de leur auteur, accompagnés de leur traduction en anglais. Certaines revues ont directement publié leur article en anglais. C’est la revue allemande ballet-tanz qui a édité ce premier Yearbook, aussi les chapeaux sont en langue allemande.

In August 2008, the TEAM Network published its first Yearbook entitled “Dance in Art.” It brings together about fifteen contributions, with viewpoints on various artistic experiences from all throughout Europe, reflecting the links that exist between contemporary dance and the visual arts.

+ A multi-lingual revue

The articles are published in the original language of their author, accompanied by an English translation. Certain revues published their article directly in English. The German revue ballet-tanz released this first Yearbook, and the headings are in German.
